Kim Pekin is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) working with Peggy Franklin, CPM.  She is a graduate of National Midwifery Institute's Midwifery Program.  Kim is the mother of seven children (five by birth, two by marriage) -- Jonathan (20), Erik (20), Nicole (18), Lauren (17), Elizabeth (19), Charlie (8), and Justin (3).

Kim is a former La Leche League Leader and Coordinator of Leader Accreditation for La Leche League of Virginia and West Virginia.  She is passionate about homebirth, breastfeeding, and about the importance of good parenting.
